It was being manipulated too much, and I believe it happened to be more headache than we have now.

I think I proposed to k00b that trust be calculated on a rolling basis rather than permanent, to make it more dynamic and let newbies build trust faster

Trust decay is a concept in WoT, cowboy hat streak might be just one metric in a larger WoT algo.
The answer is right before us... all roads lead to WoT.
