You don't know every person's situation, needs, preferences, and desired/acceptable trade-offs, so please do not dictate courses of action to complete strangers without first understanding their circumstances. We have the luxury of choice; allow people to choose.

Additionally, even if your preference/recommendation is suitable for the person you are talking to, they may simply currently not know about it. For example, I am a UK resident but only found out about Revolut X and its much cheaper fee structure recently; prior to that, I almost ubiquitously recommended Kraken Pro to UK residents that are willing to trade with KYC. If the person that informed me about Revolut X had called me an idiot or a zealot or a hypocrite or whatever else for simply not knowing about the existence of a better alternative, or for preferring Kraken because it's Kraken and Kraken is not to be trusted, then they would have been committing a ridiculous act, because they would have been senselessly disparaging me whilst simultaneously giving me no useful information about why they have their opinions.

Do not chastise people without warrant. Give your conversational partner the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. Instead, take every opportunity you have to inform, educate, and teach.

With you being a self-professed staunch Bitcoiner, I would hope that you know all too well about the importance of proof above all else. "Don't trust; verify" is a maxim for a reason, and you should take care to apply it properly. Assuming good intentions until proven otherwise, rather than assuming bad intentions until proven otherwise, is one such sane application of the maxim.
