lol im selling my house and pretty much everything i own, to buy a sailboat or yacht and move to Panama i won't be sailing the world yet but definitely island hopping i don't know how to sail yet so the plan is to learn as i live anchored and practice locally
I take the exchange route usually , coinbase to be exact it's just so simple , after that I pull out my tangem wallet and my gemini ₿ card because the next question is always how do i spend it , can you buy anything or you just hold it , i try to explain how to move the ₿ from coinbase to the wallet, how to load the card and that's it .. it's still too many steps for some people ugh
none of that IMHO those are smaller issues , lack of adoption is driven by complexity and of course price volatility
people do not want to know about cold wallets, 24 words seed phrases , UTXO, blockchain , bip110 , forks... that is why the ₿ etf's are so popular , let's be honest if you are not tech savvy bitcoin is hard to understand we need simplicity , more shops offering ₿ as a payment integrated like it was always there , more products aimed at regular people , my "dream" is Apple integrating some kind of ₿ wallet right in your phone that would be a massive push for adoption, a nice little spot next to Apple pay that lets you buy sell and spend sats like it was nothing all in plain english with a cute little icon

thinking of adding a 3rd party escrow service, not many viable options, most of them seems to only focus on p2p ₿ -> fiat transactions
bitrated.com seems to be the best and they have an API anyone ever had personal experience with them, looking through reddit reviews seem to be overwhelmingly positive but only p2p not much info about API integration

I am fairly convinced that if Steve Jobs was still alive and orange pilled all iphones would come with a proprietary LN wallet easy to use next to apple pay and millions of people would adopt ₿ in some way or another , just too bad Steve Wozniak is not involved in anything he's a big believer in ₿ as a global currency
