Quick question. How do the wickets factor into the score?

Wickets don't factor into the score directly. However the batting team has only 10 wickets. If the bowling teams take all these 10 wickets, it's all over for the batting team.
All 10 wickets can fall on a score of zero or they can pile on as many runs as they can.
