Iran’s IRGC says ‘violating’ tanker ablaze after hitting Hormuz sea mine

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says an oil tanker caught fire after hitting a mine in the Strait of Hormuz, according to Iranian state media.

The vessel turned off its navigation system while crossing the critical waterway violating the Iran-imposed “regulations”, the IRGC said.

“An illicit oil tanker exploded and caught fire in its engine room after hitting a naval mine in the southern Strait of Hormuz,” Fars news agency quoted it as saying.

“If ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf switch off their navigation and identification systems, they will be dealt with severely and decisively.”

"Reduce gas prices." The party of banning plastic straws is not serious about lowering energy costs. You are the carbon tax people.

Which nation leads the world in energy production, efficiency and lowering costs?

China set these are priorities over 20 years ago and leads the world in production of wind power, solar PVs, LEDs, EVs, wind power, nuclear power and hydropower generation.

And refined rare earths which are essential to most energy efficient and high tech applications.

Chinas energy sector is booming due to Trumps subservience to Zionist dictates.

The Petrodollar Empire is on its knees and dying a humiliating death.

Why don't they share some of those LEDs with Cuba?

reply

Who says they don't?

reply

Cuba looks pretty dark.

reply

US obstruction of trade.
You won't get any refined rare earths until the embargo on Cuba is lifted.

reply

We'll lift the embargo after we replace the regime.

reply

Good luck without any refined rare earths.
