I knew someone who knew Munger, so I used that connection for today's.

CryptoCloaks I just cold contacted. I'd say that is the most common way I invite people.

I love it when people just decide to do them, but I frequently reach out to people who I think the Stackers might be interested in talking with. Stacker News isn't so popular that we get loads of people volunteering to do AMAs.
