But the dominance of the US dollar as a payment system to me has no link with Israel, I see it as an American currency which has been dominant post-Second World War.
Let's take Cambodia and Vietnam from the unofficial USD users on the map shared. Israel had nothing to do with Vietnam war or currency devaluation, same for Cambodia. To my knowledge there are no Israel military bases in Asia, only American.
Even if some people involved in the Fed were Jews I would see it as a coincidence, like if it had been instead people from Italian or Irish descent.
Also I don't know much about Israel but I presume they have their own currency not pegged to the US dollar.
