I understand your point about the evergreen "do this and you make 20 grand passive income per month" internet marketing scammers that sell you their vid for $80 and then you still know nothing. The very act of having to make a new vids every week proves that the passive income scam is a lie.
But I also misunderstand your problem with either "selling your own integrity" as something you can sell twice (but not passively), or "receiving royalties from your patent/music/artwork/book" as a fully automated means of income.
How you sell integrity, siiiiir?
Simple. You go talk to someone that you think needs you and your integrity will irradiate from you, into their braincells and then they hire you, because you're just that awesome.
If you've been doing it for a longer time and you're not some anon, then your reputation will precede you.
