@optimism had mentioned me in another post almost directionally about this #1557611 but I would say based on my experience working with startups, founders, grantees, developers over the last 5 years that if your trying to build a product or company in the space it is far better to either bootstrap or raise capital, not sure how you can receive "free money" and feel incentivized to build something that is innovative and valuable, being under the gun doing a startup forces you out of your comfort zone to innovate, you will either burn out, fade away, quit, succeed or die trying.

I would say PlebLab found product market fit early on and you can see it throughout the space as now everyone has a community hub, hackerspace or accelerator. We created a product category that didn't exist before in Bitcoin, which is what one of the things VC money is supposed to do.
Bitcoin growth is relative to adoption. Crypto growth is relative to taking advantage of users. Both work just on different time frames and take time.
Like any company worth building takes time and lots of trial and error, building a company is not easy and building a bitcoin company is even harder.
