What’s up with that? Whats up with that? hmmm it’s almost as if the state of being human is to create in response to our perfect creator because we are ordained and set apart to do it but when we let the machine do our one sacred job we get irked by it, yeah huh

To your mind, is the machine capable of creation? I don't reckon it would be, but I am open to being convinced.

The machine is created, as are we, and therefore has a creator. If it suddenly gained the ability in itself to be creator, as we have, then I reckon its creator (i.e. Man) has ascended to the level of god, in that he has done what until now only God can do in creating something in His image and likeness.

Although humans were made in the image of God:

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27

the Bible says that the work of human hands are dead things, not worthy of worship:

The idols of the nation are silver and gold,
the work of human hands.
They have mouths, but do not speak;
they have eyes, but do not see;
they have ears, but not hear,
nor is there any breath in their mouths.
Those who make them become like them;
so do all who trust in them.
Psalm 135:15-18

So, even though God created us and we created machines, the machines do not have the "breath of life" which makes it into a leaving creature.

Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature. Genesis 2:7

Since we cannot impart the breath of life into our creations, nor can we create ex nihilo (bring something into existence out of nothing), the creation fo AI hasn't ascended us into godhood.

if someone uses a stencil to spraypaint an image on a wall, i still like it. If someone uses chat to generate an image of a stencil spraypainted on a wall, I don't like it?
