Hmm, I didn't try to link the Spark wallet or attempt to, I might have misunderstood the seed area when I read this photo, I thought you need to enter the seeds from your Spark wallet so to link to SN like other wallets.

sharing what seeds? You need encryption to use SN other than CCs: it is generated for you, not for you to type some existing seed, and it is an encryption key only. The "seed" is the recovery phrase that you just need to store somewhere.

I really think sending and receiving should be separate, especially after the BTC Pay hack.
