You mean voters? Forgot to mention, as a non-citizen I am not allowed to vote. And I did not give pledge of allegiance. But I am required to pay VAT on every purchase, taxes on fuel, water and power, income tax, CGT etc etc. That's literally taxation without representation. And a common law "agreement" between me and the government, signed only by the government, and being constantly amended by them. I also pay for the armed men that will put me in jail if I stop complying, and for the AI surveillance bureaucracy that is being rolled out right now. No wonder I want to escape such a system.
Will I survive on my own? Yes, of course. In most countries they don't kill tourists.
You choose to live in EU to enjoy its superior economy and opportunities which are built upon taxation funded public service and government infrastructure.

Oh, I bet my life I paid 10x your amount of taxes, in 4 different countries, over my career. Yet in none of them I will apply for social security or state pension. I paid for my education with a private loan. So the parasites are all those governments, and probably you, based on your socialist rhetoric.
