You mean voters? Forgot to mention, as a non-citizen I am not allowed to vote. And I did not give pledge of allegiance. But I am required to pay VAT on every purchase, taxes on fuel, water and power, income tax, CGT etc etc. That's literally taxation without representation. And a common law "agreement" between me and the government, signed only by the government, and being constantly amended by them. I also pay for the armed men that will put me in jail if I stop complying, and for the AI surveillance bureaucracy that is being rolled out right now. No wonder I want to escape such a system.
Will I survive on my own? Yes, of course. In most countries they don't kill tourists.
