Yeah lightning.pub makes it really easy. While everyone is crying about the Federal government locking devs up Evan and Zeus hasn’t changed a think and operate just fine!!
The primal team could have engaged with JS or Zeus (maybe they did?!?) and tried to come up with a solution that didn’t involve Spark at all!
Flash is such a dumb user that have no idea what he's doing - he tried to use the 12 recovery from Spark words in Phoenix wallet. LOL if stupidity will hurt, these people will walk on street screaming in pain.
the Spark indexer overload was the core issue this week — not a wallet-specific problem. Primal, Flash, anything sitting on top of Spark's backend got caught in it.
NWC is a smarter layer here: you keep the wallet connection string but the underlying liquidity can shift providers without the user noticing. that's the right architecture for when one LSP has a bad week.
Darth's comment about the Phoenix recovery attempt is a different issue — seed words from one wallet protocol don't port to another. that's a user education gap, not a rugged situation.
PSA: We are investigating the issue where some Primal-Spark wallets are erroneously showing zero balances, like Hodl’s wallet below. Here is what we know so far:
Funds are not at risk. If you restore your wallet in Wallet of Satoshi you should see your full balance.
In our tests, after restoring in WoS, the balances started showing correctly in Primal again.
We are working with the Spark team and expect that regular wallet operation will be restored after an update to the Spark network. If this turns out to be the case, you won’t need to update your Primal app.
We don’t yet know what caused this issue. Over 5000 of our users already upgraded to the new wallet and there was a lot of zapping related to Maxi Madness and in general. Not sure if that somehow overwhelmed Spark.
If you are affected by this, please report your experience here in replies. We will publish another update as soon as we have any new information.
Should’ve got in touch with shocknet or Evan and have an LSP in the background
JS shakes head in disbelief at the decisions the community makes....again 🤣🤣

Embedded wallets on nostr client is really dumb.
NWC or WebLN is just fine for a nostr client.
NWC FTW
Flash got rugged as well. I use NWC with primal and have no issues

ODELL
This is SOOOO pathetic !
If you depend on somebody else to update your wallet balance, it is not your coin (is not bitcoin anyways).
Spark fart on Primal
Wise is the person waiting to update any apps on his phone
