And he's defending the University systems that are the source for so many of our problems. The University systems that hate and produce hate of what he claims to stand for. It's an absolute joke. The man attacks those that supported him when it wasn't popular and simply oppose him when he does things they have always disagreed with. He says nothing against people that hated him when it was convenient but now are all in when he took over the Republican party. It's an absolute joke.

No one? Few care. But the elite want workers. They don't care where they are from. You are missing the point.
Reality is that the US people have done much of this to ourselves. We are reaping the seeds of beleif in the post WW2 rejection of national pride. The embrace of multiculturalism. It's not only a government or democrat problem. It's runs deep.

Indeed. Immigration does present a cultural problem that has led to more divisive cultural clashes. But as far as market forces, the US needs people.
The actual root issue IMO is not immigration. It's the social welfare system that incentivizes us productive lifestyles for those native to the US. It has harmed our culture and communities. Created dependency and resentment. Trump tapped into the resentment thing very well. It's not new. The left ignores it and calls it racism but that is an oversimplification as usual by them, used for effect.

We don't need criminals, especially violent criminals.
We don't need unconstitutional sanctuary states that protect criminals and help them escape punishment and ICE.
USA has 330 million people. We don't need more people unless the goal is to emulate India, H1B visas not withstanding
