I am not saying it should be banned but it seems like spyware to me. I think they should be forced to make users aware that the CCP has back door access to all the data. And users can make their own decisions.

I don't know if Tik-Tok is a spyware? It's been banned in India since 2020. I was never interested in it, nor I'm interested in an alternative.

"The Indian government banned it citing the concerns that TikTok posed a threat to the privacy of its users." If it's a definition for a spyware, rightly banned. If not, it's the breach of children rights.
