2006 Supermode - Tell Me Why 1984 Bronski Beat - Smalltown Boy
I happened to have that page open on youtube (Supermode - Tell Me Why) but I wasn't going to share all the copies of the original. No problem, it was a good bounty! Make more of these!
Cool! Good to know you have time for the piano. Next bounty, don't forget to confirm the original author, because otherwise it's a bit of a gamble. Ahahahhh
The answer is in the following video. I watched it and remember that I've listened the song after watching this video. I've a bad habit of searching songs for soundtracks or tunes in videos.

I would also be interested if anyone knows if it's possible or easy to cheat on this.
I think there are some services out there which can detect a song from a sample but when I search for "AI song detector" I only get results how to detect music generated by AI.
Even Google AI or Gemini or Siri says you can either play or hum a song sample to detect the song. But I've tried them before and they are 99% not able to find a song only by a tune.
Interesting, sounds like my interactions with French people who don't understand English:
> be me
> in small kiosk in France, not knowing what I want to buy and nobody understands English
> a customer sees that I am struggling with talking to someone and wants to help
> I try to explain to him that I don't yet know what I want
> *long pause while he tries to understand what I just said*
> he points to a potato and says: "potato?"
Is this the one?
how did you find it? 👀
If it hadn't been for my tip, I doubt anyone would have found it.
Why didn't you find it then 👀
And the song from Bronski Beat seems to be younger than this one from Supermode. So I guess the tune is originally from Supermode?
Unless it's turtles all the way down.

Oh, I only looked at the date when the video was uploaded on YouTube.
Will do when I start to learn a new song!

👀👀 your tip must have saved me at least half an hour which it took me to find the song.
You're welcome! Ahahah
Didn't take help of AI for sure. I thought of Sweden to guess it.
Why Sweden? Does the tune sounds like Sweden?

Bronski Beat - Smalltown Boy
bonuslol, close but I guess either my song stole the tune from yours or your song stole from mine
The original song is by Bronski Beat. The rest are dj remix copies! Ahhahah
edit: @ekmhh, I'll give you the bounty if nobody else finds the song that I was actually looking for within 24 hours 👀
Supermode - Tell Me Why
4 minutes too slow
