Angel and a lot of the other bad umpires are protected by tenure, and the MLB umpires union. The funny thing is- off the field almost EVERY umpire is a nice guy. They all laugh about how bad they are under the guise of 'hey man this is hard, these guys REALLY throw hard etc'

Yeah they have some crazy tenure protection, to say the least! I wish my job had that type of security! Not sure how I feel about them laughing at how bad they are... seems to lend some credence to more replay
