In previous publications I have already mentioned that I always take my camera with me when I go out on the street. I never know what interesting thing I might see that is worth photographing, or I simply like to document the day-to-day life of this city. I feel that there are things in my city that could be "curious" to see for people who live in a different culture.
This was a busy day. I had to do a couple of things and go to many places. But I really used that to my advantage. I went taking street photography as I went by
It was a rainy day, so you will see some people using umbrellas. I have always found umbrellas to be an interesting element for photos.
I had to do some things in the mid town, a place that is quite crowded by many people, especially at this time of December.
I took several photos on the way to the center:
That man was outside a grocery store buying groceries.
And right at the back, at the end of the hill, there were two people talking. I liked how they looked at the top of the hill.
And upon reaching the top of that hill, we found ourselves with this steep descent that has a street that runs almost the entire mid town area
On the way, I saw a woman who works repairing shoes. I found it curious because that is usually done by men. It is the first time I have seen a woman in that profession.
In the heart of the midtown, we found many buses and, in the middle of the chaos, a man enjoying a coffee.
Many people and many motorcycles:
A slightly different family photo:
After that, I had to go stand in line to buy gasoline. You can only buy gasoline once a week, and if I missed that day, I would have to wait another week!
The lines are usually quite long, and it can take anywhere from 1 hour to 5 hours, sometimes even more!
But after waiting patiently, we were finally able to fill up the car with gasoline!
Thank you for accompanying me today around the beautiful city of San Cristóbal, Táchira, Venezuela.
Good composition. It’s tough to capture that in the daylight.
Yeah sometimes
