In this post I want to share some photos I took at a tourist site called "House of the father" located in Táchira, Venezuela.
What makes this site so special is that the borders of 4 municipalities converge at this place, so it is like a kind of "border" within the same Táchira state.
Its name comes from the church that is at the top of the hill, where a priest lived who was in charge of taking care of the entire area.
It is a very beautiful place full of beautiful landscapes.
As you can see in the photos, there were a couple of cars in the place. For such an isolated site, there were actually quite a few people.
Monument to the priest who built the church.
We decided to climb the stairs to see the church inside. Along the way, I asked my girlfriend to take a picture of me with my camera. I really liked it.
I saw this photo and didn't hesitate to take it. I find the religious elements in it very interesting.
"This is the church seen from one side."
The church interior was very simple but beautiful.
The view from the hill was very beautiful, you could see a small lagoon, and some houses with old facades in the surroundings.
I found this photo very interesting, after analyzing it, I named it "Religion is not the same as spirituality".
There were some farmers who dedicated themselves to taking tourists on horseback rides. I thought it was a very noble way to make a living. I spoke to the man and asked him if I could take his portrait. He said yes, and I really liked the result.
Another farmer who was in the place.
This cat approached us with great curiosity and was very friendly and tender, a beautiful kitten.
Restaurant Mi Ranchito, here they sold food, and beer.
I know that it is very common for people who live here to drive 4x4 vehicles, but I was very surprised to see a truck coming out from the middle of the mountains, a human element surrounded by so much nature, it was epic.
I hope you liked the photos, that I took at the Casa Del Padre. I had a great time being so close to nature and discovering a new place.
