I agree. Bitcoin is infinitely better than gold, for those and other reasons.
But I understand where he's coming from, and how most create a mental model to understand what it can represent.

I'm a believer that everyone that gets into Bitcoin will eventually be sucked into the rabbit holes and open their minds to true freedom.
