Yeah, a budget laptop is just superior IMO. The inbuilt battery and screen make a big difference.

I went with a budget Lenovo Thinkpad which is about as expensive as the RPi 4. Umbrel on Ubuntu.

The Mac Mini(even the 2020 M1 one) is a surprisingly powerful machine. It can sync the whole Blockchain overnight.
