While that is always an option, the rule of thumb as a staffer is that you get one party switch in your career, and with the likely priorities of the next Congress, they are not something I really support. Sure, there are some things they will work on and likely pass that I think are good ideas, but at least in the type of legislation I do, the money printer is going to be open at full throttle.
