I’ve been thinking about getting my first watch (ex Apple Watch), for about a year. And seriously looking into it the last couple months. I’m leaning towards a Seiko 5 sport, black dial and black silicone strap. I also like the orange dial 😉with the black silicone strap. Seems like. Good entry level choice.

I'm not really a watch guy. I just use my phone to check the time. However, when I was a kid my father got me a Seiko watch. I loved it. It was solid, cool looking, and kept great time. I just googled modern ones. They seem to have the same look. Enjoy it!

have been very pleased with the Garmin solar watch i picked up. have been using it with gadget bridge, in lieu of their software.
keeps pulse and sleep information for me + gps and notifications from the phone if i want them
I had a Seiko that my dad gave me when I turned 15, until I left Cuba about 3 years ago, it was the only watch I've ever had and honestly I tell you there may be better ones, but in 15 years I think I only fixed the time about 3 times.
