  • Trump’s own appointees, Christopher Wray and William Barr, led the FBI and DOJ when the 2019 interviews occurred.
  • Merchan’s first judicial appointment came from Michael Bloomberg, then a Republican.
  • Bush-appointed John Roberts and Trump-appointed Amy Coney Barrett voted to let his criminal sentencing proceed.

Calling everyone “leftist” doesn’t answer any of that.
