Yeah, In retrospect, I probably didn't need to go out of my way to bring up my thoughts on Woody. Even though I don't agree with him on some stuff, I definitely respect the integrity and courage the guy had. That plaque definitely comes to my mind when I think of home mining for a reason!
Yes, politics aside, he found a peaceful way of expressing himself through song. That in itself makes him redeemable.
If I had a bitaxe, I'd ask for one of these. Maybe @CryptoCloaks would be interested.
Yup, he missed the mark on a lot, but not integrity for sure. It's fitting that you're the one who noticed the highly-curated bookshelf. I put the Voltaire there because of his quote on the subject of speech and folks he disagreed with. :)
This definitely won't be my last themed mining machine. It'd be a dream to get to work with that crew!
Fantastic! I like Woody and try to ignore his politics as much as possible. We have no Microcenters where I live, but when I lived in the DC area I used to spend a lot of time in one. Amazing collection of stuff! I wish I had the patience to tinker. 5 minutes and my mind wanders.
