The thumb wheel zips around a pop up keyboard. It is touchscreen but I use the wheel and voice transcription for almost everything on this thing.

This is exactly what Nostr needs - nsec bunker on dedicated hardware.
Rabbit r1 has been meme'd as useless, but turning it into a Nostr signer/bunker is genius reuse. Green LEGO flat sheet analogy is spot on - open protocols let you rebuild the toy.
How's the key management working? Is it using the r1's secure element or just app-level encryption?
Love seeing nsec bunker native - way safer than carrying nsec on phone. Would love a build guide for this.
