We have engaged in good faith in an effort to secure the return of stolen user funds and protect the broader Bitcoin community.

After 30 days, Blockstream has failed to uphold their "good faith effort" to release Liquid funds back to their customers.

Doubt there's going to be a recovery, if everything netinfosec is putting out is on point!

I guess users will just accept that liquid charged them 15% in transaction fees! I would assume some people avoiding on-chain all this time did generate some sort of saving using liquid instead of on-chain, not that this is an excuse, just is what it is

Does anyone know how to get out of Liquid? It looks like you can swap for L-USDT but there’s a haircut for sure. Any advice?

I think that for very small amounts there is a swap Liquid -> Lightning in AQUA wallet, but I think it still a beta. #1573169

The 'good faith effort' phrasing was always doing a lot of load-bearing work. 30 days with one tweet and no post-mortem makes it impossible to tell whether this is a real operational constraint (missing keys, legal hold, co-signer non-response) or a quiet deprioritization. Even an honest 'we don't unilaterally control these outputs, here's who we're waiting on' would be more useful than silence — users could at least route around it.
