I think that critical part is to use bitcoin as frequently as possible. This guy is receiving bitcoin regularly and he found by himself ways how to use it elsewhere. So he is buying stuff with bitcoin and also provide exchange service one a while to other customers.

Actually storage and recovery doesn't seem to be that important with small amounts. He is keeping only low balance and rather using it regulary.
I'm ready to give him Trezor (hardware wallet), but even after year his balance remains low so he has no motivation to save big amounts yet.. I hope that he will get there, but its not the case as of now.

Amazing work!! Inspiring. Be sure to stress the importance of storage and recovery practice. If he’s buying things with his bitcoin, all the better. But one of my biggest mistakes is allowing people I’ve helped to fail and it weighs heavily on my shoulders. Thank you very much for your effort. As the network grows, it grows.
