I was recently invited to write an article on social movements for the Belgian Laïcité Magazine. Since I teach a course on Art and Culture for Social Change at a Communications and Journalism higher education college – a topic that has been at the centre of my work for the past twenty-five years – I took the opportunity to offer my perspective on how art and culture can drive social movements.
