Arsenal waited 22 years to finally become champions last season, and right now I think they look like the strongest and most complete team in the league.
In my opinion, City and Liverpool aren’t at Arsenal’s level. Guardiola left City, and I feel like the atmosphere around the team has changed in a negative way. Liverpool, meanwhile, seem to be relying heavily on record-breaking transfers. I watched their game against Fulham last weekend, and honestly, the football they played was really disappointing.
Manchester United are moving in the right direction, but conceding goals too easily remains their biggest weakness.
I don’t have much to say about Chelsea. They can look good for a while, but they also have a habit of losing several games in a row. I think their biggest weakness is that they lack a real leader on the pitch, someone with the kind of dominant personality Frank Lampard, John Terry or Didier Drogba had. Their squad is very young, and I think they are still suffering from a lack of experience.
So, if I had to pick a team right now, Arsenal would be my choice. I think the next few years could belong to them.
