I would agree with that. "Be your own bank" is a heavy burden. Banks are experts in security, so it's hard for me to blame people who store small amounts of sats with custodians.
i totally think this is legit, not everyone is capable to understand how bitcoin works and they still have a “fiat mentality” it's impossible for someone who knows about bitcoin to try to explain to someone who doesn't when they have this type of mentality

Although everyone will be using it in some kind of a wrapper form without them knowing much about it.
Bitcoin is for everyone but some people is not ready yet.
If it's not for everyone yet, that's on us to fix, not to shrug off
