That was my feeling too, but I think the Keynesian Beauty Contest distortions might be more extreme when only zapping is rewarded.

Unequal splits is something they haven't really played around with. Maybe it could be something like
- 40% top post zappers
- 30% top post creators
- 20% top comment zappers
- 10% top comment creators

It’s a good idea, but I don’t think those numbers work. I see it more like this:
- 40% top post zappers
- 40% top comment zappers
- 10% top post creators
- 10% top comment creators

As someone who enjoys writing, all I see is that the current incentive isn't for those who enjoy creating, especially the evergreens.
Why do the heavy thinking work if zapping fast is the way to game the system?
