Regarding Trumps claims to have seized custody over Venezuelas oil don't be too hasty in believing the hype.
This is what the WSJ says about it-
'News of the talks caused an outcry among some in Venezuela’s opposition who have been pushing for the U.S. to pressure Rodríguez to hold elections. The Trump administration has played a major role in overseeing Venezuela’s oil industry since ousting Maduro and replacing him with Rodríguez.
“An illegitimate interim government with an illegitimate hydrocarbons law has no legitimacy to strike this unconstitutional deal,” Ricardo Hausmann, a Harvard University economist and former government official in Venezuela, wrote on X. “It will be a fiasco for all involved, starting with [Secretary of State Rubio].”
Venezuela’s constitution says the country’s oil deposits belong to the Venezuelan state and cannot be transferred to another owner—a potential legal obstacle to any deal that would give the U.S. government control of reserves.'
The U.S. has a ceasefire with the Houthis, so why would we get involved with someone who right now isn't attacking?
The Houthi are literally in the process of taking over the entire Yemen from the Saudi backed Yemen government.
The US is the Saudis military supplier and guarantor of security but while the Saudis have lost control of Yemen and the Houthi now can blockage Saudi oil exports from Bab al Mandeb the USA will just sit there and do nothing?
The video linked above reports the Saudis directly asked Trump for assistance and TACO said NO.

The US petrodollar was built upon the 'mighty' US being the Saudis military guarantor but now that guarantee is exposed as bullshit.
The US military is overstretched and incapable.

The U.S. has a ceasefire with the Houthis, so why would we get involved with someone who right now isn't attacking, threatening, or doing anything against us? Isnt that what you complain about? The U.S. getting involved in things? Yemen has been a Saudi/UAE problem for a decade now.
Plus, the East-West Pipeline attacks also came from Iraq.
This kinda gets you in a bind doesnt it? The U.S. currently has the leverage over OPEC by a wide margin, esp. with the failure of the Saudi's in Yemen. Venezuela, the world's largest oil reserve, is working with the U.S., not China, not OPEC.
