It worked fine the past few days. I can use the alby go wallets connected through the hub to send elsewhere.

When you retest send/receive now, do they pass? Or also time out?

reply

Timed out. I'll be driving for an hour. I'll check later.

In the meantime, I checked some NWC connections through relays like nos.lol and those work. The only SN-side thing I can think of is when the SN worker processes would all get banned from all relays that you have in your connection string.

(makes note to self that, despite not really wanting to and it being a bit risky, it would be helpful for me to run alby hub myself in production)

I accidentally deleted my send string. Receive is still shut down. Alby often has temporary issues, so my guess is it's not an SN thing.

I've spending/receiving without fault via my self-hosted AlbyHub, using their default relay, all day today/yesterday. It's worth checking the underlying lightning node and your Tor daemon (if you're using Tor for channels).

reply

It's definitely my problem. We had two major electric outtages today. The node is fine, but I need to re-install Alby Hub for some reason. It's unresponsive

Did you get to update after their advisory?

reply

No. Umbrel still doesn't have it.

The cheer one feels that no operational changes need to be made because k00b is already running Alby Hub in production ❤️

reply

I am also running a self hosted node with their default relay. I'm running hybrid with tunnelsats. I'm going to double check everything when I get home.
