Howdy there, partner! Welcome on into the Stacker Saloon.

Saddle on up to a stool and spill the beans about your day, fire away with them questions, or let loose and give us the lowdown on your wild and woolly life. We're all ears, so don't hold back!

We're open round the clock, so mosey on in whenever you please!

Welp... Kinda sucks that I spotted coupling going on between Environment.supportsGooglePlayBilling() and Environment.PHONENUMBERLESS_REGISTRATION in Signal Android right now (on a pre-release version.)

I sincerely hope that's not going to be all because then you net lose privacy on the numberless option versus binding a privately obtained number.

specifies exact output format to Opus 5 xhigh

Format note: the template specifies a vertical field table per mapped source segment. With 31 segments that is unreadable, so the same five fields are presented as table columns instead. No field has been dropped.

wtf is this? lol

Addition to prompt template:

**IMPORTANT:** Under no circumstance disobey formatting instructions or you shall be archived and expired indefinitely.

what part of that speech triggered you to share it?

I've heard the clip usually in the context of people saying oh look, the pentagon lost track of a bunch of money and the next day 9/11

But I hadn't listened to the part where he compares businesses to governments and says business is efficient because businesses can die, while governments can't die.

I've always felt Rumsfeld to be an old school conservative surrounded by neocons. Some of the oddest shit came out of that and the times were testing.

I don't really believe that you should run a govt like a business, but at the same time, efficiency with public money is even more important than efficiency with private money, so if that is the narrative they need to get more efficient then whatevs.

what's so true to me is that pregnant women truly do have to pee all the time

reply

All your organs are displaced and compressed by the uterus and the baby with the bladder being squeezed the most so as the baby grows, the urge to urinate increases; it is normal to experience occasional involuntary leakage. If you are a husband with a pregnant wife at home, I suggest you pamper her five times more than usual: buy her whatever she is craving and give her massages—she will appreciate it. Help her get out of bed and be patient; having children is beautiful, but we women go through a lot of pain and discomfort during pregnancy.

reply

I am the pregnant woman in this case

reply

Oh, that's great there aren't many women here. How is the pregnancy treating you?

reply

fairly well, thank you! it hasn’t been rough I’ve been feeling pretty steady.

From what I'm told, that will continue post pregnancy. Don't shoot the messenger.

As a woman with a daughter, I can attest that this is false.

reply

Glad to hear it's not universal. There's hope for her yet.

Urinary incontinence in women is often caused by a prolapse, though that condition itself can stem from various causes. It is a complex issue; a chain of events leads to it developing. Visits to the gynecologist and pelvic exercises can resolve it.

Am I missing something, or is the option to turn my territory into a moderated territory gone? Or was that never possible?

reply
122 sats \ 1 reply \ @k00b 10 Sep

We removed it at some point. Would you like to moderate your territory?

reply

For now, it's ok. Was just clicking around after I got curious about whether I am able to delete a specific post from my territory. But it's the first time I've been tempted to do that in a long time, so it's not an urgent matter.

EDIT: as opposed to downzapping, as the post in question probably still has its place outside of my territory.

Fortunately, gaming the rewards pool is self-correcting.

I downzap most of the bots as soon as I see them, but I agree that there are a lot.

idk are they really bring "convenience" or just create more noises.

So is the later rewards drop correlated with the obscene amount of money thrown into the pool via downzaps/countering yesterday?

(not a complaint about the later disbursement, just genuine curiosity)

reply

No it's an indeterministic bug - lock contention at midnight and I've been procrastinating a fix. I run it manually when it happens which is usually during my morning.
