When you have to start buying your own petrodollar USTs...which is already happening.

It seems like the Ponzi can go on forever, tricking people with the "ceiling" terminology.

Even Bitcoiners, who understand how stupid fiat is, continue to talk about fiat-based macro-economics more than anything else. All the Bitcoin podcasts are about fiat.... adding energy to that system by focusing on it so much more.

If the Bitcoin community can't break itself free from the fiat Ponzi, the rest of the world sure as hell won't either.

So, how many times can the ceiling be lifted before people wake up to what's really going on? Apparently infinite times. People are stupid... apparently Bitcoiners even more so.

All those times when they spent above the debt ceiling are what made it not a ceiling.

We have straight up abused the poor debt ceiling..... At this point, the way I see it is that when we have to deal with it, that's the one time it seems that both parties look at the spending and go This is an issue. Then raise it and pretend that the spending is fine.

At this point, calling it a ceiling feels a little generous. It’s more like a height recommendation.
