We demo the day-one build of CoderOS, an Omarchy-inspired mashup of NixOS optimized for our Coder agent.

Aside from infinite easy Coder panes via Hyprland we also built our own screen recorder, replacing our usual Loom usage.

We ask Coder to cancel our Loom subscription and it does. Instinct eat your heart out!

For future reference, the "before" market cap of Atlassian is currently $47.99B. Sorry Benioff, maybe Dario will save you!

Coder now has its own computer and operating system. What will it build next?

The free Gemini tier as the front door is the clever part and the fragile part
at the same time.

I was looking at free provider tiers recently from the other side, as something
to build revenue on, and ran into two walls. The terms generally forbid passing
that capacity through to third parties. And "unlimited(ish)" is a quota somebody
can move on a Tuesday without telling you.

Genuine question rather than a dunk: is there a fallback for the week it moves?
The one-install-and-go pitch is the thing people will remember, so that's the
promise that breaks loudly.
