I have been here since 2022; I am quite convinced that SN is here to stay for the long haul, what with the recent changes being implemented.

TBH, and it may just be my sensing, SN used to feel a bit more crowded than now. I think I am used to people coming and going, though I wish that things were simpler and people would fill in an exit ticket telling the administrators the reason why they chose to stop using SN haha. I do miss their company and chatter. But I guess all I can do is to post about my daily matters and respond to those who leave me comments

Peak busyness was probably right before MSM.

There used to be more times that I'd find myself in a long discussion about something random over my morning coffee. That's the main dynamic I'd like to get back.

What is/was MSM?

reply

‘as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced’

reply

Laughed out loud at this. It is true.

reply

million sat madness

reply

An experiment where they paid out the rewards at the end of the month, instead of end of day.

reply

Yeah, you're absolutely right.

That randomness is somewhat lost in the way. It were partly due to the decrease in sat reward.

reply

The reward pool has been erratically larger lately and activity seems to be up to. I wonder if some people have been lured back.

reply

Yeah looks like some people are actually back.
But, you know I still believe that SN also needs to be a place where some funny things need to happen everyday and should not be suppressed.
But now hat can we do about it, it's not in our hands.

reply

that, as well as seeing 10 varied responses to a question that I had posted. I miss the sheer diversity of opinions
