Obviously, not fully stop thinking, but that creative edge (which may be the last thing I have firmly in my grasp) might slip through my fingers.
I'm not too worried about this (yet?). It's so stupidly deeply ingrained in my being at this point

I admire your openmindedness. I'm still afraid that if I use chat to do my writing, I'll stop thinking.

I've been butting my head against a number of writing pieces over the last month. The easy thing to do is to step away and work on something short or work on something where I'm not trying to say something new.
I fell in love with writing because of the feeling you get sometimes when you are trying to express something and you discover an entirely new idea there in the words. One which you hadn't previously expressed to yourself (at least not so clearly). That feeling and building out the structure around it is such a thrill, I'd never want to risk it.
Chat is a really great research assistant. But I still refuse to let it write things for me.
