Deliberate news distortion
my ass. She said “mixed results.” Ten Trump-endorsed candidates had already lost primaries—including one to a guy who’d dropped out. Trump’s approval: 33%.
Yeah, those ten losses make up about 3% of the endorsements. A 97% success rate is not "mixed results."
Don’t get it twisted. 97% overall, mostly MAGA incumbents and safe picks. Five of his 24 gubernatorial endorsements lost. “Some mixed results” is literally accurate, not “news distortion.” That’s English.
I don't think 79% of one type of candidacy is mixed either. Mixed sounds like 75% at most.
And this is only one case of a pattern of consistenty downplaying Trump's success and outright making stuff up to sabotage him.
It doesn’t matter what you think “mixed” should mean. She accurately reported that he had “some mixed results.” Five of 24 gubernatorial endorsements lost. For a guy who constantly sells himself as unbeatable, that’s pretty damn mixed. And his Reuters/Ipsos approval is 33%. That’s not sabotage. That’s reporting facts you and he don’t like.
But you’re right about one thing: Roberts gave official presidential acts extraordinary protection from criminal prosecution. So, “you win.”
This isn't censorship of unfavorable opinions. The FCC would be acting well within established law by cracking down on deliberate news distortion on limited, state-regulated airwaves.
The ballroom has to be understood in the context of foreign-backed enemies of the nation mindlessly obstructing upgrades to security for the sole purpose of making it easier to kill the president and allied visitors.
