I have a similar one. The monitor is attached with just two cables, the trackpad is useless, and it doesn't hold a charge. Plugged in, propped up, and with an external mouse, it still works like a dream.

I just lost my templates on a really old laptop that died. I loved that thing. It had nine lives. I won't be able to access my backup stuff for a few days. I could easily recreate them, but I'm too lazy this morning.
