I've been trying to learn a 2nd language for years!

Currently I'm vibing with shat chippy tea and ask it the headlines of today in all the major newspapers, and then break each one down, where I learn new words and add to my vocabulary

But I get the feeling that AI is trained on English as a premier language and others get bolted on

Because it understands all the colloquialisms in English but struggles with the same in secondary languages
