I can't believe I just discovered https://www.languagereactor.com/. What an amazing language learning tool! For example, when you are watching a show, you can hover over the subtitle to get an explanation and pronunciation of any word. The best part is that you can even export the new word lists! omg, that's exactly how I learned English, the only difference is I did that manually, writing down all the new words. 😂

But I kinda miss those days when you could focus on learning something for a year or two, no social media, no endless messages or attention-seeking vids. I just read books and watched the shows I liked, talking to foreigners was such an exciting thing! Now we could do that easily without leaving the house, but somehow it feels a bit transactional with all the following and unfollowing.
