You really don’t know what to say... when you hear news like this, it just chills you to the bone. Tonight, news came out that down on the southern coast, right in the coastal area of Sirik (near the Persian Gulf), a wedding ceremony got hit by brutal US attacks. A wedding that was supposed to be a night of joy and dreams for a bunch of young people got turned into a mourning site by bombs and missiles.
It’s such a terrible feeling... initial reports say that in this bitter attack, 4 of our compatriots (including even a kid) lost their lives, and around 50 others got injured. Just like that, in a single second, a wedding full of music and celebration turned into smoke and blood.
It feels like war and conflict don’t have any red lines left anymore. A wedding? A place of joy? How on earth could they bring themselves to do it? You just run out of words. All you can do is pray for those families who went out to celebrate and now have to look for their wounded or lifeless loved ones. The situation down south these days is just awful, and terrible news keeps coming out of the coastal regions.
For anyone looking into the reports, here is one of the news coverages detailing the incident: IRNA News Agency Report.
What kind of future do you think actions like this are building for the region?
