Working in my town of residence has its perks. This afternoon, I went for a dental checkup for the first time in my illustrious working career. This wouldn’t have been possible if I were working in another part of Singapore. But get this, I still had time to go back and watch a bit of “Badly in Love” and settle some housework. Then, I trudged my way back to school and picked up my son, after which I spent an excruciating time watching my son make Teachers’ Day cards. But I guess all of it was not lost since I finished marking some compositions.
