That's a fair analysis as far as I can tell. I expected a write up somewhere explaining things, but didn't see it. Like you say though, I also dig the funky/quirky/silly vibe. I can respect fun. But something about those characters is nightmarish. Looks like demented, delirious, trippin' out Thomas the Train.
