Sadly, I almost never buy paper books anymore. 1. They take up scarce space. 2. They're harder to carry around with you. 3. Recreational reading is almost entirely on audiobooks for me now, whereas study-reading is done on digital where I can more easily make and search notes.

I can relate. My preference swings back and forth. I was watching a documentary the other day about booksellers where it was said that younger millennials and Gen Zers are buying physical books more than older people. It may be part of the back to analog movement.
