First time I moved sats off an exchange my hands were sweating. copied the address, checked it four times, still sent 5 sats first as a test. felt kinda silly. watched it land, then moved the rest. now that little test hop is just automatic.

it has caught two problems since. once my clipboard had a different address in it than the one I copied, no clue how. once I'd grabbed a change address by mistake. both times the test never showed up so I stopped before sending the real amount.

costs basically nothing and the calm is worth way more than the fee. not a lecture, just a thing that saved me.
