I was originally hesitant when Wasabi added SLIP39 since I wasn't too familiar with it. But now I'm a huge fan, and I want to create shares like that to backup my Nostr xpriv.

SLIP39 is essentially a pure upgrade of BIP39. You get more flexibility in case of a fire/tornado/robbery/inheritance without sacrificing security.
